Dr. Duan Peng is Chief AI and Data Officer at Ashley Furniture, where she leads the global AI and Data organization and is responsible for transforming Ashley into an AI-first agentic enterprise. In this role, she is building an enterprise-wide agentic AI system to automate complex workflows across manufacturing, supply chain, retail, finance, legal, and HR; developing an agentic commerce platform to revolutionalize home furniture shopping and delivery; and establishing a unified data and AI platform, governance, and responsible AI standards. Before joining Ashley, Dr. Peng served as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Head of AI, ML and Data Science at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, where she led an enterprise AI/ML Center of Excellence and delivered large-scale AI-native applications, multi-agent systems, and AI-driven personalization and pricing solutions. Previously, she was Senior Vice President, Global Data and AI at Warner Bros. Discovery, leading a 250+ person organization supporting direct-to-consumer streaming products in 80+ countries, and held senior data science and analytics leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company, 21st Century Fox, Fandango/NBCUniversal, Hyundai Capital America, Ameriprise Financial, and HSBC. A recognized leader in AI, Agentic AI, ML, Data, Product and Engineering across tech, media, financial services, retail, and CPG. Dr. Peng is known for combining strategic vision with deep technical expertise to build high-performing teams and deliver business transformation. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Miami and a B.A. in International Economics from Beijing Normal University.
