Integrating Cybersecurity and Enterprise Risk Management

Interactive Boardroom

Virtual Boardrooms are fully interactive with all attendees participating in an active discussion. For this reason, they are limited to a maximum of 20 participants. Topics are driven by and for the Intelligent Enterprise community and discussions are not recorded or made available to the public. To create the best experience for everyone it is required that all attendees have their cameras on and mic’s enabled. Please do not attend with the intent to observe. Please attend and participate!

Cybersecurity data can be overwhelming to senior executives and the board and does not often communicate the implications behind the data. Cyber data is more effectively communicated in the context of the business value it provides. ERM is foundational to an organization's ability to understand risk within the context of business value.

  • How to implement and operationalize NIST’s guidance to bring cyber into ERM
  • The difference between cyber risk management and enterprise risk management in the context of your organization
  • Create a common lexicon to identify, prioritize and communicate cyber risks
  • Incorporate risk appetite and tolerance into the integration
  • Implications for the operating model and lines of communication
